Terms of Service: Pastor Nest

1. Who we are and agreement

Pastor Nest is operated by ZRN Holdings Pty Ltd, trading as Codex Analytica, Victoria, Australia (ABN 56 696 766 186, {{COMPANY_ADDRESS}}). These terms apply when you agree to them on creating an account or purchasing a subscription. Viewing an unsolicited private proposal does not create a subscription or require payment.

The planned service addresses are pastornest.com, app.pastornest.com for editing, and <slug>.pastornest.com for published websites. These draft terms do not announce that those services are live.

2. The service

Pastor Nest hosts a personal ministry website with a browser editor, content library, JPEG/PNG/WebP image uploads, YouTube embeds in privacy-enhanced mode and owner-requested RSS and YouTube metadata imports. Owners can invite editors. Giving, booking and newsletter links lead to external services. We do not process ministry donations or receive offerings on your behalf.

An operator-prepared private preview based on public sources is an unofficial proposal, not an endorsed or official ministry website. The person concerned may claim it, correct it or request its removal at support@pastornest.com. Public availability of source material does not establish permission to reuse it. Identity, content and permissions must be confirmed before publication.

3. Accounts and acceptable use

You must be able to enter a binding contract and have authority to manage the website. Protect your email account and magic-link sign-in messages. Invite only authorized editors, review their access and tell us promptly about suspected unauthorized access. You are responsible for content and instructions you or your authorized editors provide, without limiting our responsibility for our own failures.

Do not upload unlawful material, infringe privacy or intellectual property rights, impersonate another person, attempt unauthorized access, distribute malware or deliberately overload the service. This is not a system for confidential counselling records, health information, children's records, financial advice or biometric data.

4. Your content, images and permissions

You retain the rights you hold in your supplied content and media. You give us a non-exclusive licence to store, process, resize and display that material only as needed to provide the service and publish content you authorize. This licence does not authorize our use of your portrait, name or content in advertising.

You must have the necessary copyright licences and permissions from identifiable people before uploading or publishing their photos, words or personal information. A photographer's permission and a depicted person's permission are separate matters. Do not imply an endorsement or invent testimonials, events or first-person testimony. Do not upload images or information about children under this pilot scope. Religious beliefs or affiliations can be sensitive personal information; obtain appropriate permission before including information about other people. Our reusable software, templates and platform remain ours or our licensors'. An export of your content and media is not an independently hostable copy of the platform or a transfer of third-party rights. Your separately registered domain remains yours.

5. Trial, plans and billing

A private preview is free. Claiming starts a free 14-day editing trial, without permanent public hosting. There is no permanent free tier. A paid subscription starts only when you explicitly choose and authorize it; the trial does not automatically charge you.

For Care, one supplied update means uploading or formatting one final article, sermon-note item, or a text/image change to one existing page. You supply approved final text and authorized images. Original writing, theological ghostwriting, new designs and video clipping are not included. Agree any additional work and price before it begins. Unused monthly updates do not roll over. No delivery-time guarantee is included.

Subscriptions renew monthly until cancelled, with one site per subscription. Paddle is the seller of record for subscriptions and issues the invoice. Pastor Nest is the service provided by ZRN Holdings Pty Ltd trading as Codex Analytica. The 17 September 2026 decision selects Website A$49/month and Care A$99/month total, tax inclusive. Paddle handles checkout tax as merchant of record. Integration is sandbox first; merchant approval, recurring payments, card-data flow and the refund workflow remain to be verified. Care scope and merchant eligibility remain subject to confirmation before offering that service. Domain registration and external subscriptions are paid separately by you. No undisclosed setup charge applies. Clip work is quoted only after timed pilots and is not included in either subscription.

6. Founding price and changes

Eligible founding-pilot subscriptions keep their agreed monthly plan price for 12 months from the first paid subscription date while continuously subscribed to that plan. Eligibility closes on {{INTRO_PRICE_END_DATE}}. We will give at least 30 days' notice of a subsequent price increase, which applies only to a renewal after the protected period. You can cancel before it applies. We will disclose any price effect before you approve a plan change.

7. Cancellation, export and deletion

Cancel at any time through the available account cancellation control or by emailing support@pastornest.com. Cancellation stops future renewals; hosting and access continue until the end of the paid period. That date is the effective cancellation date. The published site is taken down at the end of the paid period.

Content and media export is available on cancellation. Drafts and media are retained for 30 days after the effective cancellation date so you can retrieve them, then deleted. Request retrieval at support@pastornest.com during that window. Backup copies rotate out within 30 days after deletion from active storage. A restored backup must have pending deletions reapplied. Limited billing and dispute records may be retained where required by law, separately from website content. This timing also applies in our Privacy Policy.

Our Refund Policy provides a full refund of the first subscription payment if requested within 30 days of that payment, in addition to your statutory rights. Outside that promise, cancellation does not automatically refund an unused part of a month unless required by law. If you request an immediate end of service with a full refund, we will confirm the effective end date and export arrangements with you.

8. Suspension and service changes

We may restrict access where reasonably necessary for a material breach, unpaid fees, a security threat or a legal requirement. Where practicable, we will explain the reason and allow a reasonable opportunity to resolve it. Urgent restrictions may be immediate. We will preserve lawful export access where reasonably possible without exposing other people's data or worsening a security incident.

We will give reasonable notice of changes that materially reduce paid functionality. If we discontinue a paid service, we will provide an appropriate refund for the unused prepaid period and an opportunity to export, subject to applicable law. No uninterrupted-availability guarantee is made.

9. Consumer rights and responsibility

Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded, including Australian Consumer Law guarantees. Where applicable, services must be supplied with due care and skill, be fit for a disclosed purpose and be supplied within a reasonable time where no time is agreed. Remedies depend on the failure and can include rectification, cancellation, refunds and compensation. The first-payment refund window does not limit these rights.

We remain responsible for obligations imposed on us by law. These terms do not impose a blanket customer indemnity or a general exclusion of liability for our failures.

10. External services

External giving, booking and newsletter providers have their own terms and privacy practices. Confirm destinations before publishing links. YouTube/Google may process visitor information when embedded videos load or play, even in privacy-enhanced mode. Our use of hosting, email or payment providers does not remove our legal responsibilities to you.

11. Updates, governing law and contact

We will publish changes with an updated approval date and notify account holders of material changes before they take effect where practicable. Changes will not retrospectively remove accrued rights. Victoria, Australia law governs these terms, with non-exclusive jurisdiction in Victoria's courts, subject to mandatory rights and jurisdictions that apply to you.
